PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Practicing attorney in Massachusetts since December, 1983.  Admitted to practice in Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the United States Supreme Court. Has represented  thousands of clients over a full range of legal disciplines.

Conciliator Massachusetts District Court, Stoughton and Brockton Divisions, since 1995.  Selectman Town of Foxborough, elected 2005.

Civil law trial attorney since 1984. Lead trial counsel including cases on civil rights claims, unfair business and insurance practices, negligence, zoning and land use; associate counsel on cases including medical malpractice and product’s liability.  Many other court cases on contracts, property and various areas of the law.

Accepted public appointments on behalf of the Committee for Public Counsel Services as a member of the Norfolk County Bar Advocates from 1984 to 1993.

BUSINESS / ENTREPRENEURIAL EXPERIENCE

Formed Reach The Beach, Inc. in 1996. This company designed and patented the Wonder Wheeler® which has been licensed for sale throughout the United States. Reach The Beach owns and operates its own specialty website, www.wonderwheeler.com, selling thousands of Wonder Wheelers® every year.

Jim consults regularly with inventors on new product ideas, advising on all aspects of new product development from inception to market.
